What are DUNS numbers?
A DUNS® number (Data Universal Numbering System) is a 9-digit designation to clearly identify companies throughout the world, which is issued by Dun & Bradstreet.
It is useful in procurement to clearly determine suppliers, to identify potential duplicates or to match these to other datasets. Additional information about parent companies and other business relations can be shown via the DUNS family tree.
